Overview
Corey adopted a big wayward kitty his young nephew named Happy. She was a kind, gentle and appreciative orange tabby. For Christmas, Corey bought and wrapped some kitty toys for her, one of which was a tan, fragrant, burlap bag of catnip with "Catnip XXX" printed on it. We had for each of many years, a real Douglas Fir Christmas tree. We decorated it with color C7 twinkle bulbs and heirloom Christmas ornaments. One year, a neighbor gave a brief honk as he drove by while we were decorating it. It was very beautiful. On the night of Christmas Eve, Corey let Happy come into the living room to open her presents under the tree. She sniffed the wrapping as Corey opened it. Even more after she had the unwrapped toy. Corey held the toy as she nuzzled it for a good, long time. Happy looked up at him appreciatively. She knew no fear, and a visiting relative said the kitty was very cool.
